Set right in one of the most beautiful districts of Are, Are Railway Station can't boast a very impressive size but don't think that it is anything but a great rail hub, offering everything you need for a worry-free journey. The first station building was opened in 1881 and designed by Adolf W. Edelsvärd. In 2006 a new station building was opened. There are tickets desks, waiting areas, and big screens, providing information about the closes departures are at your service, as well as an eatery where you can purchase snacks and drinks to take onboard.

Is there parking available at Are Railway Station?

Sure, there is spacious parking near the station's building. Just keep in mind that the service is not free.

How far in advance should I arrive at Are Railway Station?

It is advisable to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your departure as to have enough time for making your way around the vast territory of the complex, finding your way to the needed platform (you may use one of the Are Railway Station maps available inside), and to board your train.
