Baku Railway station is a railway station located in Baku, Azerbaijan. The first building of the station dates back to 1880 with the launch of the Baku-Tbilisi railway. In 1926, the second station complex, Sabunchu Station, was designed and constructed to serve the electrified Baku - Sabunchu Railway passengers. The architecture of the building is also in the Oriental style. In 1977, the station underwent a major renovation, during which a new modern station building was built, closely adjacent to the building of the old Tiflis station.
