Livadeia is a charming town in the heart of central Greece, nestled just 90 km (56 mi) from Athens. Despite what the name suggests, Livadeia Railway Station is not located within the city limits but very close to the border. In 2017, the station was upgraded and renovated and now offers everything travelers might need for a comfortable trip. It boasts two platforms and three tracks and services trains running between the cities of Athens, Kalambaka, Leianokladi, and Thessaloniki. The station is not very busy and operates approximately 16 trains a day.
