As you can imagine, the New Thessaloniki Railway Station is not the first rail hub in this wonderful Greek city. The original station building was built at the very beginning of the 20th century and was very small and hardly a head-turner. So, in the 1960s, a new railway hub was inaugurated, and it didn't change much since then. Of course, the station was keeping up with the time and offers everything you would expect from a modern railway terminal, but the interiors are pretty much unchanged (as the name), making New Thessaloniki Railway Station an important historical sight of the city.
