Alicante Terminal is the central railway station in Alicante, Spain. It was officially opened on 25 May 1858 in the presence of Queen Isabella II herself! The station serves Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia, Cartagena, Villarrobledo, and Ciudad Real destinations, as well as Alicante and Murcia suburban areas. Being the terminal station, it consists of 6 tracks that are easily accessible by 4 platforms. As all modern railway stations, Alicante Terminal provides all the necessary services, such as information desks, ticket office, post office, cash machines, WCs, cafeteria, luggage trolleys, car hire and parking, and even a bookshop.
