Bergen Central Station
Nestled right in the heart of the beautiful city, the Bergen railway station is one of the busiest transport hubs in scenic Norway. The Bergen station was built over a hundred years ago in 1913. The building housing the station was designed in the National Romantic style and believed to be one of the most striking buildings in Norway. But the Bergen train station is much more than just a striking facade, it serves dozens of domestic routes every day, including the routes, connecting Bergen to such major Norwegian cities as Oslo, Voss, and Sandefjord.

The main Bergen train station is located right in the city center, making it easily accessible by public transport. The station is located within walking distance from such amazing Bergen sights as the Leprosy Museum St. Jorgen's Hospital, Galleri Nygaten, and Bergen Kunsthall.
Of course, you can always choose to travel from Bergen Central station to the airport by taxi, but there are more budget-friendly (as well as more ecological) ways to travel between those major transport hubs. One of the most popular is a comfortable Bergen Light Rail ride, also known as the Bybanen.
