Conveniently located right in the heart of the beautiful city, the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof rail station prides itself on the status of the main train station in the city as well as the title of one of the busiest railway stations in Austria, serving over 25 000 people every day. The station building looks very impressive and boasts a very light and spacious interior. It houses 14 platforms and serves trains to Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Verona, Milan, Venice, and Rome as well as many other popular travel destinations.
