Rovaniemi Central Station
The fairytale city of Rovaniemi is the capital of one of the most magical regions in the world, the homeland of Father Christmas also known as the province of Lapland. And taking a comfortable train is among the most popular ways of traveling to the amazing town. The Rovaniemi Central Station (known as the "Rovaniemen Rautatieasema" in Finnish) is the main railway station of the region. Although the station boasts 16 routes, only 3 of them serve passanger trains. The rest of the tracks are mostly used for parking the trains that are currently out of service.
