Yoğun bir şekilde trenle seyahat etmeyi planlayanlar, büyük olasılıkla Daegu, Pohang, Cheonan(Asan), Seul arasında rotalarda gidip gelen, en popüler uzun mesafe trenlerinden biri olan KTX trenlerini kullanacaklardır. Korail, tarafından işletilen KTX trenleri, 1. ve 2. sınıf da dahil olmak üzere seçim yapabileceğiniz çeşitli tren sınıfları sunar. 2. sınıfta koltuklar genellikle her sırada 2+2 tane, 1. sınıfta ise genellikle 2+1 tanedir. Tüm KTX vagonları klimalıdır, konforlu koltuklara ve yolcuların bagajları için geniş alanlara sahiptir. Çoğu trende yolcuların yolculuk sırasında yiyecek ve içecek satın alabilecekleri bir Bistro veya Restoranlı vagon bulunur ve ayrıca atıştırmalıkların satın alınabileceği arabalar vardır. Dahası, tren personeli İnglizce dahil bir veya iki dil bilir.

    This type of coaches offers comfortable 2x2 arranged seats with enough legroom and enough space for your belongings as well. Onboard the train you will find free WiFi at your disposal and electric power sockets commonly available. Passengers can purchase food from vending machines onboard.

    This type of cars offers comfortable seating with enough legroom and enough space for your belongings as well. The seats are arranged in three rows with the possibility to select a single seat. Seating for passengers with special needs is also provided. Passengers can also indicate their preference to be located in the silent car of the train while booking the ticket.
