Proudly known as the second-busiest train station in Canada, Montreal Central Station (French: Gare centrale de Montréal) is the major intercity railway station and a major commuter rail hub in Montreal, serving about 11 million passengers yearly. Located in the heart of Montreal, the station's large building is adorned with art deco bas-relief friezes inside as well as outside. Montreal Central is easily reached as the station is also connected to the Montreal Metro metro system. Passengers are welcome to use the station's services including parking, electric vehicles and charging stations, bike sharing, WCs, ticket desks, and more.
