Die Königsklasse der Hochgeschwindigkeitszüge ist der InterCity Express oder ICE. Der ICE wird von der Deutschen Bahn betrieben und ist der Zug der höchsten Kategorie (Klasse A) im Tarifsystem der Deutschen Bahn. Die InterCity-Züge verbinden einige europäische Länder und deren Städte, darunter Deutschland, Österreich, Dänemark, Frankreich, Schweiz, Belgien und die Niederlande. Es sind 259 Zuggarnituren im Einsatz, die eine Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 320 km/h (200 mph) erreichen können. Während der Fahrt zwischen europäischen Städten können die Fahrgäste schöne Ausblicke durch ein Fenster und Komfort an Bord genießen, denn die ICE-Züge sind für Langstrecken-Geschäfts- und Freizeitreisen ausgelegt. Der hochmoderne InterCity Express bietet zwei Reiseklassen: ICE Erste Klasse und ICE Standardklasse. Außerdem sind alle ICE-Wagen mit Steckdosen an jedem Sitzplatz, viel Platz für Gepäck, Klimaanlage, Sitzen mit Tischen, WLAN, behindertengerechten Einrichtungen, einem Kinderspielbereich und einer Kaffeebar ausgestattet.

    Economy

    Choosing this travel class, passengers have a ride in a comfortable air-conditioned open coach (sometimes it is a 6-seat compartment) with textile seats, luggage racks, and overhead shelves. Wi-Fi and one electrical outlet per double seat are available. Food and drinks can be purchased at a restaurant car or snack trolley. The coach provides the possibility to travel with pets. The Intercity-Express also offers a special compartment for travelers with babies and equipment for passengers with special needs. You can mention traveling in a silent car among your preferences.

    This type of coaches provides comfortable seats (arranged 2 by 2) with extra legroom and enough space for your luggage. Seating for passengers with special needs is available. Onboard the train you will find free WiFi with limited data access and individual electric power sockets at your disposal. Bike transportation and onboard catering service are also possible on this train. Passengers can indicate their preference to be located in the silent car while booking the ticket.

    This type of cars provides comfortable seating with enough legroom and enough space for your belongings as well. The seats are arranged in three rows with the possibility to select a single seat. Seating for passengers with special needs is also available. Onboard catering service at your seat is also possible on this train.     1. Klasse

    The 1st class seats in TGV InOui trains offer more space and legroom compared to 2nd class. The seats in 1st class are often equipped with additional features for customization. You can typically adjust the backrest, headrest, and footrest to find your preferred seating position. Some trains may have seats arranged in a 1+1 configuration, with individual armrests and partitions between seats. Power Outlets, USB Ports, and WiFi are available. 1st class passengers may have access to a dedicated catering service. This can include complimentary meals, snacks, and a selection of beverages served at your seat or in a separate dining car.
