Also known as Aarhus Hovedbanegård or Aarhus H, Aarhus Central Station is the main train station in the city, connecting it with other hubs in Denmark. Designed by the State Rail Company's architect K.T. Seest, it was built back in 1927, and once combined the Central Station and the Central Post Office. Nowadays, it is the busiest railway station outside of Copenhagen, with an average of 6.3 million commuters using it every year. In addition to providing connections with cities all over Denmark, Aarhus H also connects the city with Berlin and Hamburg. Located in the city center, Aarhus Central Station is set adjacent to a shopping center, offering numerous services, restaurants, and shops for your convenience.
