Der beeindruckende Vogel der russischen Eisenbahnen: Strizh-Zug
Der Swift-Zug (oder Strizh auf Russisch), der von den Russischen Eisenbahnen betrieben wird, ist eine modernisierte Version des spanischen Talgo-Zuges, der am 6. Mai 2015 zu einem bedeutenden Teil des lokalen Eisenbahnnetzes wurde. Obwohl dieser Hochgeschwindigkeitszug modifiziert wurde, um sich den russischen klimatischen Bedingungen anzupassen, wurde die ursprüngliche Konfiguration des Talgo-Zuges beibehalten, um modernen Standards zu entsprechen und den Fahrgästen maximalen Komfort zu bieten. In der Regel bieten die Strizh-Züge Sitzwagen der zweiten und ersten Klasse sowie Luxuskabinen mit eigenem Bad. Was die allgemeine Ausstattung an Bord betrifft, so sind alle Wagen klimatisiert und mit geräumigen Sitzen mit Klapptischen, Leselampen, Steckdosen und sogar einer individuellen Heizungsregelung ausgestattet! Während der Fahrt können sich die Reisenden auch im Restaurantwagen stärken, wo verschiedene Snacks und Getränke zum Kauf angeboten werden.
