What to Know About Seville's Santa Justa Station

The Santa Justa station opened in 1991 as part of the city's modernization project when the AVE high-speed trains only started operating in Spain. Named in honor of Seville's most famous saint (sister of Santa Rufina), the station has 12 platforms and provides regular connections to the major destinations in Andalusia. Serving around 9 million passengers a year, Seville's Santa Justa is the third-busiest station in the entire country! The contemporary design of this enormous and outstanding complex was created by talented Spanish architects Antonio Cruz and Antonio Ortiz.
