Railjet Train

Operated by OBB, the Austrian Federal Railways, Railjet is a modern high-speed train, connecting Austrian cities with Hungary, the Czech Republic, as well as the airport in Vienna. Railjet high-speed trains are capable of moving at a speed of 230 kilometers per hour (143 mph) and are therefore among the fastest and most convenient ways to travel on train from Vienna to Budapest, as well as on the Vienna to Prague train route. The high-speed Railjet train was designed for comfortable travel and offers cozy seats with folding tables, electrical outlets, free WiFi, entertainment on board as well as spacious racks for luggage.

Travel Classes Onboard Railjet Train

1st Class Seat
In this travel class onboard the high-speed Railjet train you will find individually adjustable leather seats (2 by 1 configuration) with lots of legroom and folding tables. Wi-Fi, electric outlets, and newspaper service onboard Railjet trains are also at your disposal. Food and drinks from the restaurant menu are available for purchase and can be served at your seat as per your request. Facilities for passengers with special needs are provided. You may also indicate your preference to travel in a silent car or transport a bike while booking the ticket.
Economy Class Seat
This is the simplest seating class onboard Railjet train. Such coaches have comfortable seats arranged 2 by 2 with folding tables, arm/footrests, and electric sockets. Onboard you will also find WiFi and free newspapers at your disposal. Among other facilities, there's a playground for kids and amenities for travelers with special needs. Food and drinks can be purchased at a restaurant car or from a snack trolley. You may also indicate your preference to travel in a silent car or transport a bike while booking the ticket.
Business Class Seat
Passengers of this class travel in modern coaches which provide cabins with 3-4 leather-covered adjustable seats, electrical outlets, and reading lights. Free Wi-Fi as well as newspaper service onboard Railjet train are at your disposal. Food and drinks from the restaurant menu are available for purchase and can be served at your seat as per your request.
