The standard processing time for your order on
Rail Ninja is one business day. Urgent last-minute orders are processed the same day, within a few hours of placing the order, so you can still book a train shortly before departure. If you book far in advance and tickets for your journey aren't yet open for reservation, we'll let you know the date when they'll be issued. Rail operators open sales at different times, and long-distance trains often reward advance booking with lower fares, so it's worth booking early even if the tickets themselves are issued later. Once your order is processed, the ticketing system locks in your reservation and issues your tickets by email or in the app. In most cases, getting a train ticket comes down to a few steps: choose your journey, enter the passenger details, and complete the payment. Before you travel, check the ticket details carefully to make sure the date, train, and names are correct. To see when sales open for your route, read
