Oresundstag Train: Fast Connection Between Denmark and Sweden

If you need to travel between Denmark and Sweden, taking a train is a great choice. Oresundstag trains run between these beautiful Scandinavian countries and promise fast travel times and a very comfortable journey with spectacular views along the way. The train got its native name, Øresundståg, from the fusion of the Danish word "Øresundstog" and the Swedish "Öresundståg" (both words mean "Oresund train" in the corresponding languages). The trains boast a top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph) and can take you between the cities of Copenhagen and Gothenburg in about 3.5 hours. The calling card of the train journey is a ride across the famous Oresund Bridge - the longest combined road and train bridge in Europe! Its length is almost 8 km (5 mi), and it goes all the way from the Swedish coast to the artificial island of Peberholm in Oresund strait.
