Over a century old, the main railway station of Gdansk is one of the most important train stations in the country, operating PKP, Polregio, and SKM Tricity trains. During WWII, the station was set on fire, and most of the building was destroyed. However, the famous tower, the calling card of Gdansk Glowny, fortunately, survived the blaze. Interestingly, the station has a twin-building - the Colmar station in France.
