Constructed in 1905, Daejeon Station is a part of the Gyengbu line that belongs to the extensive high-speed KTX railway network. KTX bullet trains are noted for their outstanding onboard service and short travel times as their top-speed can reach 350 kph (217 mph). Did you know that Daejeon station also was a source of inspiration for Korean ballad "Daejeon Blues"? Interestingly, you can hear this song whenever trains arrive at Daejeon station. Another thing that makes this place even more special is that it served as a filming location for the worldwide famous zombie movie Train to Busan!
