Mokpo Station
Opened in 2015, Mokpo railway station is the westernmost train hub in the country and the final stop on the Honam Line which interconnects Chuncheongbuk-do, Gongju, Iksan, Jeongeup, and Songjeong. What is more, from here you can easily reach such famous tourist spots as Jeju Island, Heuksan Island, and Hong Island. The two-story building is located in the old city center and can be easily reached by public transport. As for the available rail services, the station accommodates KTX, SRT, and ITX-Saemaul trains which are noted for their well-equipped carriages, great speed, and punctuality.
