Pilsen Main Railway Station is conveniently set right in the city center of Pilsen, which makes it very easy to reach the station by public transport. It boasts 6 platforms, one platform for buses as well, offers a wide range of in-house facilities, so you can have the best possible travel experience. Such useful services for planning a rail trip as ticket desks (and several ticket machines), left luggage facilities, waiting areas, large screens with the train departures schedules. In December 2018, a bus terminal was opened next to the train station. There is a newly built second underpass, which connects the bus terminal with platforms.

It is advisable to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your departure as to have enough time for making your way around the vast territory of the complex, finding your way to the needed platform (you may use one of the Pilsen Main Railway Station maps available inside), and to board your train. Luckily, there are no extensive security check procedures on the station.
