Bratislava Hlavna Stanica is the main railway station in Bratislava, Slovakia. Its location near Šancová Street makes it easy to get to the beautiful historical part of the Old Town (just a 15-minute walk). Having 6 platforms, the station serves international destinations to Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, and Switzerland, aside from domestic routes. Interestingly, Bratislava Hlavna Stanica Station had a curious wine transport system in the past. Using tubing from trains at the station, the ‘vinovod’ sent wine right into the Paludaj family’s wine cellars in the heart of the city.
