The rail station is located in the heart of the city and is easily reachable by public transport. One of the most popular ways to get to the station is via the metro. There is the Budapest's Nyugati metro station (officially known as "Nyugati Palyaudvar"), located right underneath the eponymous rail terminal, served by the North-South (M3 line).
